The first ever episode of the long running entertainment series explains the tests that contestants were subjected to before being selected to take part. At 01m17s you will see a clip of the exterior of the NIA before the development of Brindleyplace (specifically the Sea Life Centre) was completed. ‘We Will Rock You’ introduces Atlaspheres, the first ever game of the series, a kind of giant hamster ball challenge.

Tezz (2012)

This October 2011 footage was taken during the filming of the movie Tezz on the canal outside the National Indoor Arena. It looks like the stunt didn’t quite go according to plan as both of the actor end up in the water.
